TwinOver leverages online communities called TwinOver Spaces (T-Spaces) governed by robust community rules and guidelines and moderated by T-Space Founders and Moderators. TwinOver also leverages AI moderation to ensure adherence to community rules and guidelines. Through this multi-pronged approach, TwinOver eliminates noise and clutter to create focused, interest-based communities.
TwinOver offers a seamless onboarding process designed for speed and simplicity. Members can sign up using Google, Email, Facebook or Apple ID for faster account creation. Upon sign up, Members will proceed to create their profile by providing their personal details. A Member can edit and/or update their profile from time to time as the Member wishes.
The following information will be captured to complete a Member's profile: First and last name (mandatory); Preferred username (mandatory); Phone number (optional); Date of Birth (mandatory); Gender (select from given options); Preferred interests and topics (mandatory). The Member's declared interests and topics will enable TwinOver's AI to immediately customize their home-feed and recommend relevant T-Spaces for the Member to join.
A Member must select at least 3 and up to 15 interest categories. There is no limit to how many topics you can select. Interests represent broader categories you are interested in, while topics are more specific subcategories within those interests. TwinOver's AI will recommend content and T-Spaces that match your preferences based on your selections.
The following information appears on a Member's profile: Profile picture, cover image and bio; The Member's activity (all posts made in different T-Spaces); All the T-Spaces the Member has joined; The Member's declared areas of interests; Specific topic(s) under each interest category. Each profile on TwinOver is linked to a unique QR code which can be shared with those you wish to find and follow you on TwinOver.
Yes, signing in via social accounts or magic link email login inherently includes a form of 2-factor authentication, enhancing your account's security.
TwinOver does not use a password login system, so there's no need to remember or recover passwords. You can log-in using your Google, Facebook, or Apple ID, or with your email via a magic link sent to your inbox.
Yes, a Member can change their username by editing their profile. It must be unique and not previously used by the Member or anyone else. Usernames can only be changed once every 60 days. If you need to change the email used during TwinOver onboarding, please contact TwinOver's support team for assistance.
Yes, a Member can edit their profile at any time by visiting their profile page on TwinOver.

Currently, TwinOver is available on iOS, Android and Huawei. The web version is currently under development.
T-Space is the short form for TwinOver-Space, which is primarily a video-first community on TwinOver (group) where Members connect and engage with each other on their shared interests and passions.
To join a T-Space, tap the T-Space icon or card to preview its content and see if it aligns with your interests. If it feels like a good fit, tap the Join button in the top right corner. You'll then be taken to a page where you can review and agree to the T-Space's rules and guidelines before becoming a Member.
At sign-up, a Member chooses their interest categories and topics and then TwinOver's AI-recommendation system will suggest the T-Spaces that align to the Member's declared interests and topics. The suggested T-Spaces will appear on the Member's home-feed and 'Suggested For You' page. Members can also utilize TwinOver's AI-powered search engine to find posts, T-Spaces and other Members.
Yes, a Founder via T-Space settings may choose to restrict membership, in which case Members will need the Founder's approval to join. Founders can choose to leave T-Space membership open to all.
One can only post if they are a Member of a T-Space.
Yes, you can exit a T-Space at any time. To do so, go to the specific T-Space you wish to leave, tap the three vertical dots (⋮) on the top right corner, and select Exit. You'll navigate to a page where you can choose a reason for leaving. Once you've exited, you will not see content from that T-Space, and its contents will not appear on your 'Suggested For You' and 'Discover' pages.
Yes, a Member (who violates a T-Space's community rules and guidelines) can be removed as a Member or blocked by the Founder of that specific T-Space.
Yes, if a T-Space is violating TwinOver's community rules and guidelines or not living up to its stated objectives, you can report it to TwinOver. To do so, go to the T-Space, tap the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top right corner, and select the Report option. You'll be directed to a page where you can choose the reason for your report. TwinOver's team will review the report and take appropriate action if necessary.
Click the T-Spaces tab on TwinOver, it will redirect you to the T-Spaces page where you seamlessly create your T-Space. You will be the Founder of that T-Space.
Currently, Members can create a maximum of 5 T-Spaces. When a Member is verified on TwinOver, a Blue-verified Member can create up to 15 T-Spaces whilst a Gold-verified Member can create an unlimited number of T-Spaces.
A Founder is a creator/the leader of a T-Space.

If a T-Space founder leaves TwinOver, the Founder role is automatically transferred to the most active Moderator. If there is no Moderator, the role will be assigned to the top contributor in the T-Space.
No, transfer of T-Space ownership is not supported on TwinOver. However, in special cases with valid reasons, you may contact TwinOver support for assistance to transfer T-Space ownership.
A T-Space Moderator is a Member of a T-Space assigned by the Founder to assist in maintaining and controlling quality engagements within the T-Space created by that Founder.
Yes, you can exit as a Moderator and still remain as a Member of the T-Space.
Yes, Members can search within a specific T-Space. The search will enable the Member to explore content and posts within that specific T-Space.
Yes, but only a Founder can tag all the T-Space Members for a wider reach by calling out the T-Space Members using @members (not case sensitive).
When you open a T-Space, click the header section to see the name of the T-Space, the interest category, the topics under the interest category, description of the T-Space, the names of the Founder and Moderator(s), the number of Members, the rules and guidelines, amongst other information of the T-Space.
Yes, a Member may contribute to a T-Space anonymously. However the T-Space Founder and Moderator(s) will be able to see the identity of the creator of an anonymous post.
Yes, a Founder can promote a maximum of 2 T-Spaces per day for free (limited edition) to increase visibility thereby reaching a broader audience.
TwinOver allows a variety of post formats outlined below, with each format designed to offer flexibility depending on the Member's communication preference and creativity: Text posts for sharing written content, thoughts, and updates; Audio posts for sharing voice notes and short podcasts; Photo posts for sharing images; Video posts for uploading videos.
Currently TwinOver does not have a music library but will be incorporating it in the near future.
Yes, the below limits apply: Maximum photos per post: 10 photos; Maximum photo size: 10MB per photo; Maximum video size: 100MB on iOS and 76MB on Android; Maximum video length: 10 minutes.

Yes, you can. If you prefer not to allow others to comment on your post, you can disable commenting during the post creation process. After adding a caption, you'll see post configuration options, one of which is for commenting. By default, commenting is enabled, but you can simply toggle the switch to turn it off. You can also do this later by editing the post.

Yes, you can edit a post within 7 days of posting it, specifically the description, hashtags, and mentions. After this 7-day window, you won't be able to edit the post directly, you would need to delete and re-upload it. To edit a post, tap the three vertical dots at the bottom right of the video, just below the share icon, and select the Edit option. Note: you can only edit your own posts.

Yes, you can repost content. To repost, tap the share icon on the post screen. At the bottom right, you'll see the Repost option. You can customize the caption, hashtags, and mentions before sharing. All reposted content will display a "Reposted from …" badge to indicate it's a repost and credit the original creator. If the repost option isn't available, it means the content owner has disabled reposting for that post.
Yes, you can share to other platforms in two ways: Share a direct link to the post, or Save and share the media to other platforms. Note: Shared media will include our watermark for attribution.
Yes, TwinOver allows you to share posts directly to the DMs of people you follow, all within the app. The recipient can view and interact with the post, making it easy to share interesting content with your friends instantly.
Yes, you can save videos edited using our platform to your device, but only after successfully creating a post. The saved video will not include any watermarks.
Posts on TwinOver support a wide range of actions, including: Upvoting posts to show approval; Downvoting posts to indicate disinterest; Commenting on posts with text, GIFs, and stickers; Sharing posts externally on other platforms; Reposting content that has been shared by other Members in the T-Space; Bookmarking for easier retrieval of favourite posts; In-App sharing directly to other Members; Threaded comments to keep the engagements more organized.
TwinOver delivers an intuitive and engaging video viewing experience with these controls: Full Screen Mode: expand videos for immersive, edge-to-edge viewing by double clicking; Pause & play: Tap to pause or resume videos instantly; Mute on long press: long-press to quickly mute or unmute videos without interrupting playback. Seek: easily scrub forward or backward in a video to jump to the part you want. Playback speed: while in full-screen mode, you can change the speed of the video by tapping the speed icon at the bottom right corner of the video player. You can choose from the following speed options: 0.5X, 1X, 1.5X and 2X.

Yes, you can bookmark posts on TwinOver. To do so, simply tap the bookmark icon on the post. When the icon changes from white to blue, it means the video has been added to your bookmarks. To view your bookmarks, tap your profile to open the drawer, and select the My Bookmark(s) option.
Yes, the following character limits apply:
- First name: maximum 50 characters
- Last name: 50 characters (letters only recommended)
- Username: minimum 3 and a maximum 30 (alphanumeric/underscore and must be unique)
- Post caption description on video: maximum 2,000 characters
- Text post: maximum 20,000 characters
- Comments: maximum 250 characters
- Message (DM/ Chat): 10,000 characters per message
- T-Space Name: minimum 3 and a maximum 50 (must be unique)
- T-Space Rules: minimum 3 rules per T-Space with one rule having a minimum of 30 characters.
Yes, you can set your profile to private. When your account is private, only Members you follow will be able to view your profile.
To make your account private, go to Settings > Privacy Settings, then toggle on the Private Account switch.
Yes, if you do not want a specific Member to see your profile or content, or you do not want to see their content, you can block that Member by going to that Member's profile page, tap the three vertical dots (⋮) on the top right corner, then select Block from the dropdown menu.
TwinOver has the following controls that enhances a Member's privacy:
- Mention Controls: Members can choose who is allowed to mention them in posts and comments.
- Messaging Controls: Members decide who can send them messages—everyone, Members only, or no one.
- Online Status Visibility: Members can toggle their online status visibility for more privacy.
- Private Accounts: Members can make their profiles private, making them viewable only to people they follow.
Yes, if you don't want to see posts from a specific Member, you can mute them. Once muted, their posts will no longer appear in your home-feed.
To mute a Member, tap the three vertical dots (⋮) at the bottom right of one of their posts, just below the share icon. Then select the Don't see posts from this user option.
You can unmute a Member anytime by going to your Settings.
Yes, these notifications include options such as:
- Quiet Time Settings: set periods during which all notifications are muted to avoid interruptions.
- Mentions: turn on or off notifications when someone mentions you in a post or comment.
- Content Updates: get notified when people you follow post new content.

Also, a Member may choose to stay informed about activity in a particular T-Space with these T-Space notification settings:

- New Content Alerts: get notified when new posts are published in the space.
- Pinned Posts: opt in to be alerted when moderators or founders pin important content.
- Batch Notifications: group similar updates together for a less disruptive experience.
Each T-Space is managed by its Founder who can assign Moderators to assist in moderating content by:
- Removing content that violates T-Space community rules and guidelines
- Removing or suspending Members who repeatedly violate T-Space rules and guideline
- Members in a T-Space can report inappropriate posts or comments.
Founders and Moderators receive notifications immediately when a post is reported so they can take timely action.
TwinOver's moderation team also monitors all reports to ensure community rules and guidelines are upheld. Members who are frequently reported for violation or consistently violate community rules and guidelines may be removed or restricted by TwinOver's moderation team.
Yes, there can only be one Founder for a T-Space. The Founder can assign Moderators on their T-Space as follows:
- For T-Spaces with 101 to 1,000 Members - at least 1 Moderator
- For T-Spaces with 1,001 to 10,000 Members - at least 2 Moderators
- For T-Spaces with 10,001 to 1 million Members - at least 3 Moderators
- For T-Spaces with over 1 million Members - at least 4 Moderators.
One Member can be assigned as a Moderator of a maximum of 5 T-Spaces.
TwinOver requires Members to express themselves freely while respecting each other without harassment or abuse, and in the event of such an occurrence, kindly report the offending Member. Our review team will investigate and take appropriate action like removing the violating content.
You can also contact the T-Space Founder and/or Moderator, who has the ability to remove any disruptive or violating Member.

Blue-verified status is awarded to Members with over 100,000 T-Points whilst Gold-verified status is awarded to Members with over 500,000 T-Points.
Yes, the TwinOver's personal settings enables a Member to curate their home-feed with their post format preference, and hence a Member can choose to see image-posts only or video-posts only or text-post only or audio-posts only or any combination of post formats or all the available post formats.

T-Spaces on 'Discover' page and their content will never appear on a Member's home-feed. 'Discover' is therefore intended to enable a Member to explore more exciting content on TwinOver.
To see trending posts in your region, click the 'Explore' button at the bottom tab and you will be able to see trends based on real-time data. Trends are personalized based on the Member's declared interests and region.
T-Points are reward tokens for activity on TwinOver: think of T-Points as a measure of your influence and contribution to the community — the more you interact, the more you create value, hence more T-Points earned.
Yes! As a welcome bonus, every new Member is awarded 10,000 T-Points to kickstart their journey on TwinOver.
You can earn T-Points in the following ways:
- Post Upvotes: Earn 1 T-Point for every upvote your post receives.

Yes, TwinOver incentivizes Member growth through a referral system. Members earn T-Points by inviting others to join the platform:

For now, Members can redeem their T-Points for either Blue-verification or Gold-verification.

A T-Room is a real-time, audio-only event that takes place within a T-Space, allowing Members to engage in live discussions or activities.
Yes, you can schedule T-Lives and T-Rooms directly within your T-Space or start them instantly. All T-Space Members will be notified once a Live event is successfully scheduled or started.
Yes, a Member can only go live within a T-Space. The live duration is currently capped at 1 hour per session. One must have created a TwinOver account 21 days prior to going live and must have joined the particular T-Space at least 14 days prior to going live.
A T-Space must have at least 200 Members to unlock a T-Room and at least 500 Members for a T-Live. The maximum concurrent live streaming sessions that can happen in a T-Space is 5 Lives while a T-Space with 1,000+ Members can hold up to 10 Lives.
