How to switch from Trello to Asana

Asana imports Trello boards directly, so cards become tasks and lists become sections.

Steps

1. In Asana, create a project and choose Import → Trello (or use a CSV export from Trello).
2. Connect your Trello account and pick the boards to bring over.
3. Map Trello lists to Asana sections and labels to custom fields.
4. Invite teammates and reassign tasks that came over unassigned.
5. Archive the Trello board once the team works from Asana for a week.

• Asana's free plan caps team size
